Presented by Neel Shah, MD, MPP, Assistant Professor, Harvard Medical School, Director of the Delivery Decisions Initiative at the Ariadne Labs for Health Systems Innovation

Learn how women currently perceive quality care, and what appears to drive their choices related to healthcare, including the role of social media and machine learning in influencing consumer choices. This session also explores why third-party stakeholders, including large employers and payers, are taking a new interest in pregnancy, and walks through the outcome of a 20,000 person trial of mothers to explore whether consumerism can work in maternal health.
