Israel - Lamaze-Accredited Childbirth Educator Program
This program is designed to train childbirth educators to teach high quality, evidence-based classes to couples in diverse communities around the country. The program is run once a week over a course of 15 weeks, 7 hours each day. The course consists of a variety of independently-developed curriculum resources as well as Lamaze International materials. Five of the classes include student teaching to expectant couples in a full, 15 hour Lamaze course, with the curriculum being divided among the student teachers. There is peer and mentor feedback each week after each teaching session. The participants in the training program will appreciate the opportunity to share the workload among their classmates.

Childbirth Educator Seminar Registration Fee: 6990 Israeli shekels (US$1,854)
This program is open to women who are passionate about normal birth, whether or not they have professional training in a birth-related profession or whether or not they have themselves experienced birth. I meet personally with each candidate to verify that she has good social skills. Anyone who expresses any negativity regarding different religions or cultures is not accepted into the program.
The program fee is 6990 Israeli shekels (US$1,854) per student. This fee includes 105 teaching hours and additional supervision and review of the student’s teaching curriculum.
