The following instructors are approved to present Lamaze Specialty Workshops. These instructors are all members of Lamaze International who support the mission, vision and Lamaze fundamentals for pregnancy, birth and parenting - they all have extensive backgrounds in the content they are approved to present and evidence-based practice.
Sunny Carlisle, LCCE, CD (DONA)
Sunny Carlisle has been a birth doula since 2004 and an LCCE Educator since 2005. She facilitates Evidence-Based Nursing Workshops for the Mount Carmel Health System and has an MA in Child and Family Development with a concentration on Child Development and Infant Feeding from the University of Akron.
Kathryn Konrad, MS, RNC-OB, LCCE, FACCE
Kathryn Konrad is an assistant professor of nursing at the University of Oklahoma, where she provides the Evidence-Based Nursing Workshop to nurses and nursing students. She has been a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator since 2006.
Michele Ondeck, RN, MEd, IBCLC, LCCE, FACCE
Michele Ondeck is a nurse with a BS in Sociology and an MEd in Health Education, and has been an experienced childbirth educator for more than thirty years. She is an LCCE, IBCLC, and a trainer for the Lamaze-Accredited Childbirth Educator Program in Pittsburgh, PA. Michele is an approved presenter of the Evidence-Based Nursing and Breastfeeding Professional Support Skills Workshops, and is involved in volunteer activities, travelling and spending time with 4 children and 4 grandchildren.
Michele Nizza, CD(DONA), CMT, CLEC, LCCE, FACCE
Michele has been an active member of her birth community as a doula, childbirth educator and breastfeeding counselor since 2001. Michele also played an active role in developing and presenting content and curriculum for the California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative (CMQCC). Michele is an approved presenter of the Evidence-Based Nursing and Breastfeeding Professional Support Skills Workshops
